Revision Policy

Effective DateOctober 18, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Quality

At OnlineSPSS, we recognize that statistical analysis is often an iterative process. Research projects may require clarification, refinement, and adjustments as findings are reviewed by researchers, supervisors, collaborators, or other relevant stakeholders.

Our commitment extends beyond the initial delivery. We aim to ensure that every project meets its agreed Scope of Work and that the resulting analyses, interpretations, and reports are methodologically sound, clearly presented, and appropriate for their intended research purpose.

We provide complimentary revisions within the agreed project scope and maintain a fair process for addressing concerns about our work.

This Revision Policy explains how revision requests are submitted, what is included, and when additional work may require a separate agreement.

2. Standard Revision Period

Unless otherwise specified in the accepted project proposal, Clients may request revisions within 30 calendar days following delivery of the completed project.

For projects delivered in separately agreed milestones, the applicable revision period ordinarily begins when the corresponding milestone deliverable is provided, unless the proposal establishes a different arrangement.

A project proposal may specify a longer or shorter revision period based on the project’s requirements, complexity, or delivery schedule.

There is no fixed numerical limit on reasonable, in-scope revision requests made during the applicable revision period. This does not require unlimited rounds of wholly new analysis or disproportionate work unrelated to the agreed deliverables.

The revision period does not automatically restart following each revised delivery; we will still correct verified errors in the revised material and respect applicable statutory rights. However, OnlineSPSS will address errors or omissions introduced during a revision, and the expiry of the standard period does not remove any applicable statutory rights or remedies.

3. Revisions Included Without Additional Charge

Revisions are provided without additional charge when they relate to work included in the original agreed Scope of Work.

Examples include:

  • Correcting statistical reporting errors, inconsistencies, or omissions.
  • Clarifying interpretations of the completed analysis.
  • Revising tables, figures, or formatting to meet agreed reporting requirements.
  • Addressing missing information that should have been included in the original deliverables.
  • Correcting analytical procedures that do not conform to the agreed methodology.
  • Improving explanations or documentation of statistical findings.
  • Incorporating reasonable feedback from supervisors, co-authors, or research collaborators where it relates to the original agreed scope.
  • Making necessary adjustments to ensure that the final deliverables satisfy the agreed project requirements.

All complimentary revisions must remain consistent with the original project objectives, dataset, analytical requirements, and agreed deliverables.

Where a revision involves a methodological concern, OnlineSPSS may recommend an alternative analytical approach when professionally justified. Any material change to the agreed scope will be discussed with the Client before proceeding.

4. Revisions That May Require Additional Fees

Some requests may involve new analytical work rather than revisions to the original project.

Examples include:

  • Introducing new research questions or hypotheses.
  • Replacing or substantially modifying the original dataset after analysis has been completed.
  • Requesting additional statistical tests, models, or analytical procedures not included in the accepted proposal.
  • Expanding the sample, study population, or analytical objectives.
  • Requesting new reports, figures, tables, or other deliverables outside the agreed scope.
  • Substantially changing the research design or methodological requirements.
  • Introducing additional requirements that were not part of the original agreement.

Where a request falls outside the agreed Scope of Work, OnlineSPSS will explain the distinction and provide a quotation where appropriate.

No additional work will be undertaken or charged without the Client’s approval.

A request will not be classified as additional chargeable work merely because correcting an error attributable to OnlineSPSS requires further statistical analysis.

5. Supervisor, Co-Author, and Reviewer Feedback

We understand that research findings may be reviewed by academic supervisors, research teams, co-authors, peer reviewers, or journal editors.

OnlineSPSS welcomes feedback from these parties when communicated through the Client.

Such feedback may qualify for complimentary revision where it concerns:

  • Clarification of analyses already performed.
  • Correction of identified statistical or reporting errors.
  • Additional explanation of findings within the agreed scope.
  • Adjustments to previously agreed reporting requirements.
  • Missing components of the original analytical deliverables.

Where the feedback introduces new analyses, substantially different methodologies, revised datasets, or additional research objectives, the requested work may require a separate quotation.

Feedback received after the standard revision period may still be considered. Whether it is complimentary will depend on the original scope, the nature of the request, any identified deficiency, and applicable legal obligations.

6. How to Request a Revision

Clients may submit revision requests by email or through another communication channel agreed for their project.

Email: info@onlinespss.com

To help us assess the request efficiently, Clients should identify:

  • The relevant project or deliverable.
  • The specific section, table, figure, statistical output, or interpretation requiring attention.
  • The requested change or explanation.
  • Any relevant supervisor, reviewer, or collaborator comments.
  • Any agreed deadline that may affect the requested revision.

Where helpful, Clients may provide an annotated report or a consolidated set of comments.

We encourage Clients to group related comments where practical to support efficient and consistent revisions. This is a recommendation, not a condition for obtaining corrections or exercising applicable rights.

7. Review and Revision Timeline

Once a revision request has been received, OnlineSPSS will assess its nature, complexity, and relationship to the original Scope of Work.

We will confirm whether the request is included within the agreed revision arrangements or requires additional services.

Where a revision is accepted, OnlineSPSS will communicate an appropriate completion timeframe, taking into account:

  • The extent of the requested changes.
  • The statistical methods involved.
  • Whether reanalysis or additional verification is required.
  • The availability of necessary research materials.
  • Any previously agreed project deadlines.

Simple corrections may be completed relatively quickly, while complex methodological adjustments may require additional time.

OnlineSPSS will make reasonable efforts to complete agreed revisions promptly and communicate material delays.

No fixed turnaround period applies to every revision unless expressly agreed in the project proposal or subsequent written communication.

8. Statistical Errors and Material Deficiencies

OnlineSPSS takes responsibility for verified errors and material deficiencies attributable to its services.

If a Client identifies a potential error, we will assess the concern using the original project requirements, relevant data, analytical procedures, and available supporting information.

Where an error or omission is confirmed, OnlineSPSS will provide appropriate corrective action without additional charge.

Corrections may involve reanalysis, revised statistical outputs, amended reporting, or other measures necessary to address the identified deficiency.

A verified deficiency will not automatically be rejected solely because the standard revision period has expired.

If a material deficiency cannot be reasonably resolved, the Client may be entitled to an appropriate partial or full refund under our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

We do not require Clients to accept an arbitrary number of unsuccessful revision attempts before requesting a fair resolution.

9. Revisions and Research Outcomes

Statistical results depend on the underlying data, research design, analytical assumptions, and methodological decisions.

A statistically nonsignificant finding, an unexpected result, or an outcome that does not support the original hypothesis does not, by itself, indicate an error in the analysis.

OnlineSPSS will not alter or selectively report statistical findings merely to produce a preferred outcome.

However, Clients may request clarification or review of analytical procedures when there is a reasonable methodological concern.

Our approach is to provide transparent, defensible, and professionally appropriate statistical analysis consistent with the agreed research requirements.

10. Dissatisfaction and Further Resolution

If a Client remains dissatisfied following reasonable revisions, we encourage them to explain the outstanding concerns.

OnlineSPSS will review the matter in good faith, considering:

  • The original Scope of Work.
  • The deliverables provided.
  • Any documented errors or omissions.
  • Previous revision requests and corrective action.
  • Whether the work continues to meet its agreed purpose.

Where a material deficiency remains unresolved, we will consider an appropriate remedy, which may include additional corrective work, a partial refund, or a full refund.

Genuine dissatisfaction may also be considered on a case-by-case basis, even where a contractual deficiency has not been established.

Our objective is a fair resolution that respects both the Client’s research requirements and the professional services performed.

Nothing in this policy restricts mandatory consumer protections, statutory remedies, or other applicable legal rights.

11. Confidentiality and Research Materials

All revision requests and associated research materials are handled in accordance with our confidentiality and data protection commitments.

Clients should avoid including unnecessary directly identifying personal information in revised datasets, annotated reports, or supporting documentation.

Where additional files are needed, Clients may use the agreed secure submission method or request an alternative arrangement.

Revisions will be performed by authorized personnel or specialists working on behalf of OnlineSPSS, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

12. Relationship to Other Policies

This Revision Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

The accepted project proposal defines the agreed Scope of Work and may specify project-specific revision arrangements.

Where a policy provision conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the applicable legal requirement takes precedence.
